“Contingency” recruitment is the method of recruitment by which the Recruitment Consultancy only receives payment in the event of the successful placement of a candidate commencing employment with the client company. When we work on this basis, we are usually competing other agencies and perhaps even the client’s internal HR department, advertising and direct applicants.
Consequently, due to the inherent risks for us involved in this method (Contingency recruitment is arguably one of the few working existences where a company can do a considerable amount of work and not get paid.), Parham Consulting currently charge a fee of 25% of the candidate’s first year’s salary for Contingency recruitment.
Consequently, we offer discounts should we be instructed on a Retained or Exclusive basis.
